age of 35, and has overseen a period of rapid
growth and increasing diversification in the range
of services provided by the firm. Ian started

| Dougie Paton CA - Partner |
| |
Dougie graduated from Edinburgh University in 1994 and joined KPMG, qualifying as a CA in 1997. He then woked for four years at ICAS, writing, teaching and examining the Auditing syllabus of the CA qualification.
He joined Condies in 2002 and worked as Ian Condie’s assistant until 2004 before moving to Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Equities Division where he worked in both London and New York City. Dougie then re-joined Condies in early 2009 as Partner Designate before being appointed Partner in August 2009. |
| |
Dougie’s client base is wide ranging, covering many business sectors with particular expertise in Medical and Engineering. He heads up our Condies Strategy, which includes our Path_Finder service, and spends much of his time helping clients work on their overall business development and strategic position.
Outside working hours, following his retirement from the shinty pitch, Dougie can generally be found pounding the pavements to train for a marathon (he has completed 8 so far). However, as his years advance he can increasingly be found indulging his newest interest - photography - or attending concerts of variable musical quality (from The Killers to Meatloaf via The Blue Nile).
