| Following Condies initial recognition as an Investor
in People back in 2001 many internal changes have taken
place with a complete review of the Firm's structure,
appraisal process and departmental layout. The recent
review held in December 2004 re-affirmed the Firm's commitment
to the IIP standard and to the Partners, Managers and
Staff that work with us. |

Here are some of the comments made by our
Partners, Managers and Staff at the recent IIP review in November
2004:

|
"We took a
conscious decision to work with the Investors in People
standard to help us take a structured and long-term
approach to improving our soft skills and our culture.
We see this as a long-term relationship and have not
sought to use other tools."
"We were persuaded
by a former employee to work with the standard and we
value the changes it has helped us make. We're proud
to have been recognised and see it as an important recognition
strand of our business's continued success."
"We recognise
that some people have reached their optimal role. Our
job is to ensure the currency of the technical skills
our people require. This may be through guided reading,
in-house sessions, or one to one coaching sessions;
whatever is appropriate for the individual."
|
|
"We
keep data year on year so that we can encourage our
teams to see how their overall performance has improved."
"Up to a couple
of years ago we seemed to be having leaving parties
nearly every month, but these days the staff group seems
much more settled."
"It's how Condies
work. Our managers give us notes and updates and run
sessions for us all. They go over things one to one
when we need it, to make sure that we can all do our
jobs well."
"The 6-monthly
development reviews give us an opportunity to discuss
how our development is going. They support the on-going
dialogue we have with our managers."
