The local firm adopted Fife Young Carers as their “charity of choice” for 2018 to provide a focus for fundraising activity and initiatives throughout the year.  The Condies 360 group steers charitable activities and comprises volunteers from across the various departments, looking for ways the firm can support local organisations and get more involved with the community.

The funds were raised through a number of events and sponsorship opportunities with the Partner team matching the money raised via:

  • Charity quiz night
  • Bake sales
  • World Cup and Grand National sweepstakes
  • Proceeds from the tuck shop
  • Some of the team even took part in the Kilt Walk in Edinburgh, braving the blisters and rain!

Partner Jason Condie commented, “We are proud of the achievements and generosity of our people and are very pleased to be able to present this cheque to such a worthy cause.  Fife Young Carers do so much to support carers between the ages of 8 and 25 across the region and we have felt privileged to be able to contribute.”

Fife Young Carers spokesperson said, “We are very grateful to Condies for this donation. We support 503 Young Carers across Fife providing 1-2-1 support; school support; respite groups; respite events and residentials; and transition work with over 16s. Donations like this help us to deliver a wider service to more Young Carers. Thank you Condies.”
